Verizon Wireless CMO Tami Erwin has confirmed in an interview with CNET that they will be supporting BlackBerry 10. The interview was centered around Verizon’s launching of multiple Windows Phones, but BlackBerry 10 came up when they began discussing who the third major player in the smartphone game. We all know that Windows Phone is outselling BlackBerry and sitting comfortably in that 3rd spot right now, but with the launch of BlackBerry 10, that could change.

In addition to the confirmation, she went on to say that the launch is scheduled for Q1 2013 and that Verizon will be launching BlackBerry 10 alongside many other international carriers. That was all the information given; however, that’s all the confirmation BlackBerry users on Verizon need right now. This statement also makes Verizon the first and only carrier to pledge support for BlackBerry 10.

He moved up quickly in both BlackBerry knowledge and editorial prowess, and quickly moved up to Senior Editor. In 2012, Justin was elevated to Editor-In-Chief of TheBerryFix and he now runs the operations, while still writing and editing for the site.
