This is one of the hardest posts I’ve had to write. I cannot say how much I’ve appreciated the staff at TheBerryFix.com, our readers, and our community over the past few years. This is a post I never thought I would be writing, well at least not this soon. But I am.
I’ve been Editor-In-Chief with TheBerryFix.com for the past 3 years, I was here when we had a merely 50 visits a day. While I’ve grown leaps and bounds here, and helped position this site and the new additions like TheiPhoneFix.com in a place where they will succeed, I need to change, I need to evolve. So this is where I must depart from this.
Fist thing I want to say is that I didn’t make this decision over night; I truly admire everyone that works here and readers. Here is where I’ve had some of the most enjoyable and rewarding experience, having the ability the claim that we are the fastest growing BlackBerry site on the net gives you a bit of an ego boost. Also I’ve had the chance to meet and work with some amazing people. First off I want to thank Justin Lisenby for helping make this site what it is today, man I couldn’t have done it better without you and I know you will do amazing things as the new Editor-In-Chief. I also want to reach out to the team at RIM. Without you Guys and Girls (you know who you are) we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to attend events like BlackBerry World, and quite frankly we couldn’t have covered BlackBerry like we have.
There you have it, its in writing and it’s not going to change if you refresh the page, sorry. Now if you’re thinking about where I am off to and are wondering what will happen to me, don’t worry my friends. I’m not leaving the mobile space, or the news arena. I have a few things in the works and I’m sure you’ll see me around in no time.
For all those who email me regarding their app, please continue to reach out to me via twitter until I’ve found a new home. I want to stay connected. Also, where ever I go my BlackBerry will be by my side.
The hardest words I’ve had to say on this site………this isn’t goodbye, it’s till we meet again.
