The iVista theme series from Z Man Designs is a Windows Vista designed theme featuring an Apple inspired icon set. This theme is incredibly fast and easy to use. The theme packs so many features I barely have space to list them all here. Let’s begin with the homescreen after the break.
The homescreen features a custom skin showing a BlackBerry “Start bar” at the bottom of the screen. On the right you see the custom battery and signal meters as well as the WiFi indicator and network type. The location icon is just to the left and then the sound profiles shortcut is the speaker icon. Just to the left of the sound profiles is a file folder. When this folder is opened it displays all the folders you have on your BlackBerry for quick access.
Pressing the BlackBerry start menu will open up a 4 icon dock that features your messages inbox, calendar with hidden today, browser shortcut, and clock shortcut.
Also on the homescreen there are 5 icons going up the right side of the screen. Pressing computer opens up the secondary homescreen. Network opens the Manage Connections screen. Gadgets allows you to add a weather icon and/or a media shortcut icon to the right of the homescreen. Settings opens the BlackBerry options menu. And Today info opens a popup featuring the calendar and messages in an easy shortcut. On the today screen you can click on the time to open up the clock application.
The iV3 theme is the first theme from Z Man Designs featuring a help guide that walks the user through setting up the theme. The guide is well put together and allows walks you through all the steps to fully personalize your theme. Overall, this theme is an awesome theme for those that want great functionality and a clean look. The theme is available from the Z Man Designs website for $5.00 and works with the 8900, 9000, 9500, and 9700 series of devices.
