The first thing I noticed from Vaja, before I even took the case out of the box, was quality and uniqueness. Each case from Vaja comes in a custom box featuring their signature rainbow coloring. The packaging is some of the most attractive and creative I have seen for mobile phone cases. Once I took the case out of the box and gave it a good once-over, I knew that quality was not only a feature of this case, it was in Vaja’s DNA.
This case is made of high-quality, full-grain, cowhide just like all of Vaja’s cases are. The leather looks and feels just like you would expect high-quality leather to. It has a matte finish that only gets better with use and age. Each Vaja case is hand made and designed to withstand many years of use with proper care. The case fits snugly around the edge of the device and allows for full access to all buttons, ports, and the touchscreen. The case adds little bulk to the phone and is perfect for pocket carrying. This is a luxury case that is meant much more for show than for protection. While the case provides scratch protection to the back of the device, unless you happen to drop your Bold square on its back, this case will offer little drop protection.
All in all, this is a beautiful case for those looking to add some additional style and sophistication to their Bold. It’s not recommended for those that are prone to dropping their phone.
