TheBerryFix.com Review of the Torch 9810 w/ BlackBerry 7
8:25 pm on Nov 1, 2011 | Leave a comment

Last September RIM came to the table with the all-new BlackBerry Torch 9800, a device that was greeted with less than stellar reviews from the tech community and consumers alike. Just under a year later RIM launched what they hoped to be a powerhouse upgrade, a new phone, a new beginning. The big question is, did the Torch 9810 live up to its hype, did RIM deliver with the new BlackBerry 7 OS and hardware accelerated graphics? Follow me after the break and find out.

11:00 pm on May 2, 2011 | Leave a comment

It was only a few short months ago that RIM let us know that they had acquired a social media contact list company called Gist, and today we start to see the fruit of their labor as Gist and RIM launch the Gist app for the BlackBerry Torch.
Gist for BlackBerry will give you some awesome features like;
- Get news, status updates, and contact details for everyone in your network.
- See a unified contact list across email, social networks, and other sources.
- Use Search to navigate the contact list quickly, or sort the list by Name or Importance. Importance is a score based on your interactions with people in your network.
- Easily share a social update or news item via email.
- Add contacts from Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and your email accounts to your BlackBerry smartphone by using the Gist web application together with Gist for BlackBerry.
If you haven’t tried out Gist I highly suggest you give it ago, all this info in your inbox is defiantly a good thing.

Torch users it’s your time for some leak love. OS 6.0.0.534 has now been leaked and is available for download, but remember there are no change logs so you may experience some glitches in this build. If you’re new to leaked operating systems make sure you check out or how-to guide, it’ll help you from start to finish.
