Three UK is the second carrier in the UK to announce they will be carrying the Curve 9360 by video. Vodafone UK did it earlier this morning and now Three has put out a video of their own. There’s no mention of when this device will launch besides the “coming soon.” Take a look at the video to see more of the Curve 9360 and its awesome new feature set.

The rumors keep coming on the release date for the BlackBerry Bold 9900. First RIM said Summer 2011, then we heard July, then August, and now we are even hearing September or October. While we still don’t have any official confirmation from RIM on this one, Three UK has posted on their corporate blog the following statement regarding the Bold 9900′s launch date:

There are two versions of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and these are the black and the white versions. To-date we hadn’t really had a confirmed date for the on-sale date for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 but now we do.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 black version will be on-sale September 15^thand the white version a month later.

So there you have it folks. The Bold 9900 is currently set for launch on September 15, 2011. Now, this is only one carrier and this particular carrier happens to be in the UK. So keep in mind that the device could very well launch earlier in North America and that even this “confirmed” date for Three UK could be moved. Obviously, the bad news is that the Bold 9900 isin’t coming till September, but the good news is that it will be coming in both a black and white version. Less than 2 weeks ago, Three UK listed the BlackBerry Bold 9900 as coming in August on their website. At the time, there were various rumors and reports that the Bold Touch wouldn’t be launching till September but with the August date on Three’s site, we had hope that those rumors weren’t true. But alas, the rumors seem to be coming true right before our eyes. Three UK now lists the Bold 9900 as coming in September instead of August. We also need to keep in mind that devices often launch earlier in the US and Canada than in the UK, so an August release is still a possibility. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we hear something official.

We haven’t had any solid information on the Bold Touch 9900 launch date besides RIM’s confirmation of “Summer.” We have seen many carriers announcing that the Bold would be launching soon and now Three UK has put up an official launch date, well launch month, on their coming soon page. They have the Bold 9900 launching in August on their network. With a UK launch date set for August we could possibly see a US and Canada launch a month earlier in July or in that same month of August. Only time will tell but at least we have a sort of official launch estimate.

In an unprecedented move today, Three UK has released four official BlackBerry OS Updates. They sent out the above tweet notifying the world of this release. The updates are all OS build 6.0.0.448. This update is available for the Curve 9300, Torch 9800, Bold 9700, and Bold 9780. If you want to keep it official and own any of these devices you can hit the link below to get the upgrade.
