T-Mobile has just officially announced that the BlackBerry Torch 9810 is coming to their network. Pre-sales for business customers are beginning today and the device will be available to consumers across all channels on November 9th. The Torch 9810 will run on T-Mobile’s “4G” HSPA+ network and compete directly with AT&T. T-Mobile had the following to say about the Torch 9810:
“Powered by the latest BlackBerry 7 operating system and a 1.2 GHz processor, the BlackBerry Torch 9810 provides a fast and fluid premium smartphone experience. The BlackBerry Torch 9810 combines a brilliant 3.2-inch TFT VGA capacitive touch-screen display with a full QWERTY slide-out keyboard for a truly efficient and intuitive mobile communications experience.
Encased in a sleek and stylish form factor with a zinc grey color finish, the BlackBerry Torch 9810 is equipped with essential smartphone features, including access to BBM™ (BlackBerry® Messenger), personal and corporate e-mail, and social networking applications; a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording; and access to BlackBerry App World™ for downloading premium applications and games.”
The Torch 9810 will run you $249.99, and that’s with a 2-year contract and after a mail-in rebate. So you’re looking at $299.99 at purchase then a check back for $50 sometime in the future. There’s no mention of an outright purchase price, but based on other carriers, you’ll be looking somewhere between $500 and $600. Let us know if you plan to pick one up for yourself on November 9th.

Looks as though the US exclusivity on the Torch 9810 is about to end, as documents surface that dictate a November 9th launch for T-Mobile USA. Still nothing official from the carrier or RIM, but this is the second time we’ve seen this date. So we must ask…who’s getting one?

If this leaked T-Mobile document holds true it looks as though AT&T maybe losing their exclusivity on the BlackBerry Torch 9810 that they’ve heled since the original Torch 9800 launched in the US. According to this document, the Torch 9810 should be making its way onto T-Mobile around November 9th, with pricing to be determined. So how many users would be looking to pick up the BlackBerry 7 powered smartphone on T-Mobile?

Tonight, T-Mobile becomes the third American carrier to launch the Bold 9900/9930. Like AT&T is doing with the 9810, T-Mobile is listing the Bold 9900 as a “4G” device. The 9900 uses HSPA+ to deliver data speeds that are faster than 3G but not as fast at true 4G LTE. If you’re a T-Mobile subscriber, you’ll be able to get the new Bold 9900 for $299.99 on a 2-year contract or for $599.99 outright. The $299.99 is after a $50.00 main-in rebate, so make sure you have at least $350 when you’re ready to make your purchase. You can grab one right now online or head to your local store tomorrow to see if they have them in stock yet.

T-Mobile is yet to officially confirm that they will be stocking the Curve 9360 when it arrives in the US in September; however, they already have branded units running around in the wild. The above photo shows a T-Mobile branded Curve 9360 and is said to be from a T-Mobile employee event that detailed the new device. There are a couple more pictures after the break and one even gives a side-by-side comparison of the 9360 with the new Bold 9900. This comparison is stunning considering how thin the Bold 9900 is and the Curve 9360 is even thinner. We’ll let you know as soon as T-Mobile officially announces that the Curve is coming.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 dummy units begin arriving at T-Mobile stores
1:20 pm on Aug 19, 2011 | Leave a comment

We already know that T-Mobile is launching the Bold 9900 on August 31 so it makes sense that the stores would begin to get the dummy units in stock. But there is an interesting observation that can be made from these units. We have seen the Canadian 9900′s launch with “4G” service that was labeled as “H+” on the actual device. These T-Mobile dummy units have the cellular data connection labeled as “4G.” Could this be a change that US based carriers are making to market these new devices as 4G? And what will happen when a real 4G LTE BlackBerry comes along? Keep it here at TheBerryFix.com and we’ll let you know as soon as we find out.
