*Update, @Cellguru has posted a few more pics that are a little more clear.

More and more photos of the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 are showing up on the internet, We recently brought everyone a hands on video of the Pearl 2 but to later have it taken down by Youtube/RIM. We now have a photo that made its way onto twitter from @Cellguru this one showing a model number the 9100, were as previous phones only showed the name status. I feel its still going to be some time until we see this phone, but hey who knows.

I know that the 9100 aka Striker has been popping up on the net a lot lately and we really couldn’t call our self The BerryFix if we cant even help you get your fix on BlackBerry news, so I decided to set up my little film studio and make a movie of the much anticipated BlackBerry Pearl 2 9100. On this pre-release unit there is no carrier branding so my guess is that we are a little be away from a launch. On this unit there seems to be some build quality issues that im sure will be corrected because I know rim wouldn’t release a unit to the public like this. but enjoy the video and tell us what you think.

The guys over at crackberry were tipped off with a nice new video of the Pearl 9100, usually when you start to see more videos or you see branded hardware that the launch is just around the corner. In the clip they do a little bit of comparison between the 9700 and 9100, take a look.
