Just yesterday we saw OS build .600 get official for the Bold 9650 and today we are seeing it for the Bold 9780 and Pearl 3G 9100/9105. Vodafone DE has officially released OS 6.0.0.600 for both of these devices and it is available for download now from their software update site. Being an official release, this OS should run smoothly, but if you find any changes or bugs be sure to let us know.

Today we have a new, official OS for all the Pearl 3G owners out there. OS 6.0.0.546 is now available for download from Vodafone DE for the Pearl 3G. This OS works for both the 9100 and 9105 models. There’s no word on what has been changed in this version, but it should be stable since it is an official release. Always back-up your device before updating. TELUS has just released OS 6.0.0.481 for the Pearl 3G as an official OS update. The update is available directly from the TELUS OS update site which is linked below for convenience. The carrier, Pelephone, has released an official OS update for the Pearl 3G 9100/9105. The good news is that with each official release we see we are getting closer to a BlackBerry 6 build, but the bad news is that this is not that BlackBerry 6 we have been waiting on. While BlackBerry 6 is out and in testing we still aren’t seeing too many leaks of it yet. The majority of leaks we are seeing are the OS 5 builds, like this one for the Pearl 3G. Today’s leak is OS 5.o.0.921 for the Pearl 3G. This works on both the 9100 and 9105 models of the Pearl 3G. Its always good to see OS leaks because that means that RIM is constantly hard at work on delivering us a better user experience and the carriers are hard at work testing new OS builds for us to enjoy. No word on pricing or rebates but with the devices being the Curve and Pearl we can assume the price tag will be between $49 and $79 on contract. Wind Mobile has just added another BlackBerry to their smartphone line up, this time it’s the BlackBerry Pearl 3G. The Pearl 3G sports a 624 mhz processor, 256 mb of ram, 3.2 mp camera with flash, essentially its the BlackBerry Bold but in a smaller body. The Pearl 3G will cost $300.00 on a no tearm commitment. An internal screenshot has been leaked from Bell showing some information on the launch of BlackBerry 6 on Bell devices. The shot shows BlackBerry 6 being released in 2011 for the Bold 9700, Pearl 3G 9100, and Curve 3G 9300. There are no exact release dates or information other than the fact that BlackBerry 6 will be coming for these devices.
