Powermat and General Motors have teamed up to bring the wireless charging revolution to GM vehicles. Beginning with the Chevy Volt, customers will have an integrated Powermat charger right on their center console. GM has stated that the 2011 Chevy Volt will have the Powermat and that Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac get the Powermat option on the 2012 models. This sounds like an awesome idea to me. I can have a Powermat on the counter at home and one in the car so  my BlackBerry stays charged wherever i’m at. Let us know what you think of the idea of Powermat in you car.
