RIM is a company of choice, a company of flavor, and definitely a company of Curves, so it was no surprise when they announced the all new, all touch BlackBerry Curve 9380. The biggest question is, does this mid range touch screen BlackBerry compete against the likes of Android devices, or the iPhone 3Gs? Follow me after the break as I dive into the latest BlackBerry to join the Curve family.

Mac users looking to get the latest version of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager are now able to download and update to version 2.2.0.10. Just says ago RIM announced the all new BlackBerry Curve 9380. Now if you’ve been following the news about this device, it’s no normal curve. The new Curve touch features a full 3.23″ touch screen giving users another way to experience the BlackBerry 7 OS. One thing I did notice was that the Curve touch looked almost identical to the Curve 9360 on the back, but once you flip it over it’s a whole new experience. Hit up the link below to check out a few close up photos of the new all touch Curve.

With RIM announcing their new line of BlackBerry 7 devices today, they’ve also listed all the details of the new phones. While the Curve may seem like an entry-level device, they’ve definitely put a lot of thought into adding the features that users are asking for. 4:45 pm on Nov 2, 2011 | Leave a comment

We have see mention of the Curve Touch 9380 multiple times, seen multiple photos of it, and even seen RIM leak the device number in App World. Even through all this, RIM has failed to officially acknowledge that the device is coming. That may be changing soon with a first glance at Telus’s upcoming Holiday Promotions catalog. A page in this catalog is proudly displaying the Curve 9380 as the newest BlackBerry and goes on to list a few highlights of the device. Some of those highlights include:
- A 3.2″ High-resolution Touchscreen
- Fast Browsing and Stunning Multi-media
- BBM-Connected Social Games and Apps
- Great for Youth and First-time Smartphone Users
There’s no mention of exactly when RIM may officially launch this device, but to get the Curve 9380 and Bold 9790 out to carriers in time for the holidays, RIM should be announcing them in the next week or two. We’ll let you know as soon as we get an either an official press release or an invitation to media launch party for these devices.

Well, now that most of the announced BlackBerry 7 devices have launched it’s time we start talking about the next round of phones that should be making their way into our hands this year.
A device that we’ve heard about before but haven’t really seen much of is the all new Curve 9380, a Curve with a full touch screen. Theres not much we know about this device at this time but my guess would be that it’ll have better specs than any in market BlackBerry smartphone. Check out another photo after the break and keep it locked to TheBerryFix.com as we bring you the latest in BlackBerry news and reviews.
