TheBerryFix.com Radio Show: Episode 019 “CES 2011 and the PlayBook”
8:46 pm on Jan 11, 2011 | Leave a comment

Along side the PlayBook at CES 2011 RIM asked a few celebrities to stop by and confess their love for BlackBerry Smartphones. Some of you may know one celebrity by his appearance on Entourage, Adrian Grenier was at CES 2011 for his interview where he confessed his love for BlackBerry and how it helps him on a daily basis with all the Super Apps and connectivity options on BlackBerrys. Amongst the other celebs at CES no one really shouted their love for BlackBerry just like Common did. During his BlackBerry CES interview Common dropped a “Fresh” BlackBerry Beat and carried it to the end rapping about the Torch, PlayBook and a few other RIM devices. I wonder what were to expect for CES 2012…..

CES 2011: Powermat Teams Up With GM To Bring Wireless Charging To The Chevy Volt
7:28 pm on Jan 6, 2011 | Leave a comment

Powermat and General Motors have teamed up to bring the wireless charging revolution to GM vehicles. Beginning with the Chevy Volt, customers will have an integrated Powermat charger right on their center console. GM has stated that the 2011 Chevy Volt will have the Powermat and that Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac get the Powermat option on the 2012 models. This sounds like an awesome idea to me. I can have a Powermat on the counter at home and one in the car so my BlackBerry stays charged wherever i’m at. Let us know what you think of the idea of Powermat in you car. Would you want it or are you happy with those oft-annoying cigarette lighter cables?

I really hate referring to Apple and their certain handheld device but when you buy from them there are thousands of accessories that are available from day one, and RIM is looking to one up them.
Today RIM has introduced their new program called “Built for BlackBerry” a program designed to help accessory manufactures build products that are made for their BlackBerry devices and the BlackBerry PlayBook. Next time when your looking to buy an accessory look for the “Built for BlackBerry” logo, you may even be using a certified BlackBerry accessory already!
