BlackBerry 10 Commercial To Air During Super Bowl XLVII
4:41 pm on Jan 25, 2013 | Leave a comment

RIM has just announced that they have purchased a slice of the most prime advertising space in the world. RIM will be airing a commercial during Super Bowl XLVII on February 3rd. The commercial will be the first in a line of new RIM commercials highlighting the new features and abilities of BlackBerry OS 10 and the devices that run it.
This is huge news for RIM, a company that has been known to be absolutely terrible at advertising. They have an entirely new marketing team in place and they promise that this new commercial, and many others they have planned, will be much better than what we have seen in the past. Check the full Press Release from RIM past the break.

We have heard many rumors about BlackBerry 10 release dates in the US and UK, however, we haven’t heard anything from the Canadian carriers. Sure, they all have up preorder pages and we know they are planning on launching it, but we didn’t know when. Now we have a speculated release date for both Bell and Telus. That date is February 5th and it lines up perfectly with what we are hearing from both RIM and supply side sources. There’s no confirmation of a launch date for Rogers, but we would assume they would be launching the same day as the other Canadian carriers. We’ll get official confirmation of these dates in just 5 days, when RIM officially unveils BlackBerry 10 and announces all the release specifics.

There’s not much more to say about this photo, just enjoy the BlackBerry 10 goodness and get ready for the January 30th unveiling.
