We have some great news for all the Torch 9800 owners out there. OS 6.0.0.570 for the Torch has leaked out. There’s no word yet as to what has changed in this OS, so if you check it out, be sure to let us know in the comments what you find.

Looks like the last few days of the week have been pure gold, with device leaks and OS leaks a plenty. Tonight we’ve been graced with the latest leaked OS for the Torch 9800, build 6.0.0.526. As per usually there is no change log so you’re going in blind on this one, but if you notice something new make sure you post a comment below so others know to load it up or steer away.

Bell Confirms an October 1st Delayed Launch for the BlackBerry Torch

Just over a week ago all Canadian carriers confirmed a Sept 24 th launch for the BlackBerry Torch. But after we broke the news yesterday that Canadians are going to have to wait another week, slowly carriers are coming forth and confirming that there will be a delay. Today Bell confirms that they will be delaying the launch of the much anticipated BlackBerry Torch and they don’t really tell us why there is a delay, from what we were told from our sources it is an issue with the operating system that was to come pre installed on the device. So lets hope for a solid launch with the best OS on the Torch.

Just on the heels of the rumored Rogers launch date for the BlackBerry 9800 Torch we have just received a tip pointing toward a September 16th launch for Telus Communications in Canada. So who’s holding out for the official Canadian launch and who is going to cross the border on the 12th and get themselves a ATT branded device?

Now that the BlackBerry Torch 9800 is officially announced and the simulators are up, we’ve been snooping around checking out the many new features. We also took some time to check out some of the old goodies we have known to come and love. I’m talking about BrickBreaker. Telus, Bell, Rogers and Virgin Confirm They Intend to Carry BlackBerry Torch 9800

Canadian carriers are not about to let AT&T steal all of the BlackBerry Torch thunder, because they have also announced that they intend to carry the newest touch screen BlackBerry. By the looks of it there will be no exclusivity in cananda, though you may see the launch spread out by a few weeks between carriers.

The brand new BlackBerry Torch 9800 will be available on AT&T starting August 12th for $199.99 on a two year voice and data combo. Doesn’t look like the new device will be making it’s way onto any other american carrier…well at least not right now. Now the question is, who will jump ship from their current carrier to get the 9800? Or will you just play the waiting game for the Storm 3? Let us know!
