Magmic has just let us know that their first super app, Backgammon King, has been released. The app uses the new BBM Social SDKs in conjunction with BBM 6 for BlackBerry Smartphones to allow you to chat with friends or invite friends to play via BBM. Backgammon King is the first Backgammon game for BlackBerry that leverages BBM Social to enhance your gaming experience. RIM told us all about the BBM Hackathon last week and it’s going to be an awesome event for developers. The BBM Hackathon is an event for developers to meet together and leverage the BBM Social platform in their BlackBerry applications. To prepare developers for both the Hackathon and general use of the BBM Social SDK’s, RIM is hosting a series of three developer webcasts. The webcasts will take place over the next week and will give developers all they need to know to begin using BBM Social in their apps. The schedule is as follows:
