Just last week a youtube user posted a video of the new Inpulse smartwatch from Allerta, and to date this has been the best video of production level hardware…until now. The other day I had the opportunity to go to Allerta HQ and sit down and talk to the team working on the Inpulse watch. As you can see in the video the watch is right were they want it, it displays SMS messages, phone calls and emails all on your wrist. Eric the CEO of Allerta informed me that they have full intention to include support for weather and RSS feeds down the road, but they want to ensure that the core functions of the watch are running at peak before they introduce new features.

The InPulse Smartwatch is currently in a closed beta stage and is available for pre-order for $149.99, from what Allerta has told me they intend to have the watch available soon but are waiting to ensure that when you get your watch in runs just like you expected. The inPulse SmartWatch has been in development for quite a while now. There were production and development delays that pushed the launch farther and farther back. The watch is in limited production right now and you can pre order the device for $149. We should see the final product shipping out to customers sometime soon.

YouTube user, TopSpeedTop, has gotten his inPulse watch and has delivered an unboxing and review for us all to view on YouTube. TheBerryFix.com is set to receive a review unit and as soon as we get an inPulse watch we will have a full review up on the site for you to check out. If you’ve placed a pre order for an inPulse smartwatch then the wait is almost over! The team over at Allerta let us know a few weeks ago that the inPulse watch has entered into alpha testing and now they have photos up on their blog. The inPulse watch is like a second screen into your BlackBerry, giving you notifications of BBM Messages, weather, RSS feed, Caller ID and a whole lot more.

Now, the first few rounds of watches have already been spoken for but that shouldn’t stop you from placing a pre-order of your own. The watch will run you $149.99 USD and you can place your pre-order at www.getinpulse.com. Allerta the Waterloo electronics manufacture will be at CES 2010, Allerta is the creator of the Inpulse smartwatch for BlackBerry devices. One thing i find is that i’m constantly pulling my BlackBerry out of its holster to see the message or who’s calling but not any more. With Inpulse from Allerta I can have everything in a watch things like phone calls, sms messages and even weather updates. Allerta is now taking pre-orders at www.getinpulse.com, the watch retails for 149.99 and will be available late January early February.
