Spotify for BlackBerry now officially available for most GSM devices
12:44 pm on Dec 21, 2011 | Leave a comment

Spotify has been available for BlackBerry in Beta form for a little while and has now made the jump to an official application. The BlackBerry app is available to all Spotify users, but to utilize the streaming functionality you’ll need a subscription which runs for $9.99 a month. This fee gets you unlimited streaming to desktop and mobile, as well as the ability to download your favorite tracks to your BlackBerry for instant listening anytime.
Spotify for BlackBerry is available free from the Spotify website, which is linked below. The application only runs on the following, GSM-only devices: Bold 9000, 9700, & 9780, Curve 8520 & 9300. The Torch 9800 is not currently supported and neither are any BlackBerry 7 devices. Hopefully Spotify will remedy this with a wider reaching release in the coming weeks. You can learn more about Spotify HERE or download the BlackBerry app below.

OS 6.0.0.600 for the Curve 3G officially released by Vodafone DE
8:57 am on Jul 8, 2011 | Leave a comment

It seems that BlackBerry 6 Build .600 is becoming the standard official OS. We have seen it for the 9650, 9780, and Pearl 3G. Now, Vodafone DE has made it the official build for the Curve 3G 9300. If you’re running the 9300 you’ll want to give this new OS a try. I’m sure RIM has included lots of great bug fixes and speed improvements with this one. Hit the link below to head on over to Vodafone DE and grab the OS install.

It is getting to become a trend that most new OS leaks come in pairs and this time is no exception. We just saw build .600 leak for the Bold 9700 and now we have the same build for the Curve 3G 9300. If you download this OS and try it out be sure to report your findings in the Forums.

Bell BlackBerry Curve 9300 Color Choices and Pricing Leaked
2:33 pm on Jul 30, 2010 | Leave a comment
Ask and you shall receive. The Team over at MobileSyrup have gotten their hands on the pricing for the new BlackBerry Curve 9300 set to reales on Bell mobility and Telus in August. We don’t have pricing on the Telus handsets but they should be close if not identical to Bell’s pricing. If your looking to get the 9300 on Bell be prepared to jump on to a 36 month contract and pay $49.99, not a bad price but those three year contracts are killer when most contracts in other countries are 24 month. Anyone excited for the new Curve? or is everyone just waiting for the 9800?

Looks like we have another hands on video of the yet to-be released BlackBerry Curve 9300. Just like the other video we saw last week this is a T-Mobile branded handset, but this one has a nice metallic purple bezel instead of the standard silver chrome. Take a look at the video and be sure to put plastic wrap on your keyboard as your drool all over for this phone, even if it is a low end device its still smoken! Video after the break.

T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 9300 Makes it’s Video Début
1:20 am on Jun 26, 2010 | Leave a comment
Look what we have here, could this be the 9300 making its first début on good old YouTube….YEP it sure is. Now I know that the 9300 isn’t the most popular pre-released BlackBerry in town but it is sure making the headlines lately. The guys over at TechnoBuffalo have managed to get their hands on a pre-released…what seems to be very close to production BlackBerry Curve 9300 for T-Mobile UK, the 9300 is running OS 5.0 at the moment so not to sure if its going to be a BlackBerry 6 device (with it this close to BlackBerry 6 launch I hope it gets some 6). Take a look at the video after the brake and let us know thumbs up or thumbs down.

Just last week we dropped images and a video of the new BlackBerry Bold 9800 Slider, but today the guys over at CrackBerry.com have released the first images of the new low cost BlackBerry Curve 9300. There really isn’t anything amazing about the 9300 other than its packing WiFi, GPS and has the new chrome styling of all the newer pre released devices, it will also be sporting 256 mb of memory but things like memory are easy to change and we hope it launches with 512 to give the end user more app storage. Check out more photos from the source.
