I have to make a confession. I’m addicted to the new game called “Run In Crowd” on the BlackBerry PlayBook. It’s a free game, and simple too. The only control is tapping the screen to jump, your character runs on his own. You’re trying to beat the high score for distance on a course that changes daily. There are obstacles and gaps along the way and more times than not, you’ll fall off and have to restart before you get anywhere near your high score. But that’s what makes it so great, the simplicity mixed with the complex.
The game uses Scoreloop to keep track of high scores and you can even buy customized outfits for your runner to wear. The most unique aspect of this game is the fact that it’s a multiplayer game. Every time you run, the game displays a few other players that you are running against. These players aren’t computer generated, they are actual players from around the world that you are running against. That’s what makes the game so addicting. It’s a challenging multiplayer experience that you can pick up and play anytime. If you’re looking for a fun and free game to make your new PlayBook obsession, Run In Crowd is one of the best choices available.
