RIM is set to announce their First Quarter Fiscal 2012 Results On June 16, where they should announce how well the much-anticipated BlackBerry PlayBook sold over the last month and a bit. During this announcement RIM will update their stock holders on how the company is doing providing numbers on their handset division.
Waterloo, ON – Research In Motion Limited (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) will be reporting results for the first quarter of fiscal 2012 on June 16, 2011 after the close of the market. A conference call and live webcast will be held beginning at 5 pm ET, which can be accessed by dialing 1-800-814-4859 or by logging on at www.rim.com/investors/events/index.shtml. There have been a few rumours that the PlayBook hasn’t been selling as RIM expected but those were immediately squashed by RIM and by some of the major retailers that are offering the PlayBook. I’ll be listing in during the call and I’m hoping they will bring some good news on number of PlayBook units shipped.
