Poynt has released an update of their popular BlackBerry application to version 1.7.0.56. There aren’t many changes in this release other than the GPS fix for BlackBerry OS 5. Before this new update, many users of Poynt on BlackBerry OS 5, including me, were getting the “GPS Not Supported” error and the app was falling back to using the cellular tower location method. I’m happy to report that the bug has been fixed in this release, at least on my OS 5 BlackBerry.
