Park Manor Public School in Waterloo has partnered up with RIM for a new program that’s centered on the BlackBerry PlayBook. The program equips each student with BlackBerry PlayBook that they can use for both educational and non-educational work. The PlayBooks are used daily in two of the 6th grade classes at Park Manor and the feedback from both teachers and students has been great.

Students love having access to the latest technology for both research and fun. Teachers love the PlayBook because it better equips the students for research and it helps “students who are reluctant learners” to better participate in class. Be sure to watch the video above for all the information. Having tablets in the classroom is the future of education and it’s great to see RIM piloting this program to make the future today.
