RIM has just released a new app that is perfect for parents who want their children to have a BlackBerry but not all the freedom that comes with it. This was designed and created by RIM due to the large amount of teens and tweens that are now using BlackBerry Smartphones. The app, which is aptly named Parental Controls, does exactly what you think it would do. It allows a parent to set up a password and then limit or fully restrict access to certain features of the BlackBerry. It lets you control almost every aspect of the BlackBerry, from the camera, to the phone, and even text messaging. If you’re a parent with a child on a BlackBerry, this may be a perfect app for you.
