BlackBerry 10 and the Z10 is set to hit the United States sometime in March. It’s been officially announced by a few of the US carriers and the Z10 has passed through the FCC with internals for two different carriers. Now we are getting the first full-on photo shoot of the Verizon Z10. The Z10 looks great, except for the glaring Verizon logo on the front of the device. We’re not sure why BlackBerry allowed Verizon to double-brand the Z10 on the front and back, but it happened. Regardless of this branding, we’re sure BlackBerry fans in the US will still be eager to get their hands on this one. Check out the rest of the images past the break.

It’s no surprise that the BlackBerry Z10 is set to launch on Verizon sometime in March. That being said, the device must first gain FCC approval before it can be fully tested and sold to consumers. The Verizon version of the Z10 has officially gained that approval and can be put up for sale whenever BlackBerry and Verizon are ready. We’re looking at a launch sometime in late March, possibly earlier if things get pushed up.

In line with the launch of BlackBerry 10, the BlackBerry Keep Moving Project was created to show that when the right people and the right technology come together, amazing things can happen. Author Neil Gaiman is part of the initiative and has kicked off Phase II of his Keep Moving Project this week.
Over the past two weeks Neil used his BlackBerry Z10 smartphone to engage with fans to get the inspiration for 12 short stories he has written and recorded. The “Calendar of Tales” representing each calendar month has resulted in some interesting themes, including:
- JANUARY: A grizzled and experienced soldier fighting in a unique war hands the reigns over to his fresh-faced successor.
- APRIL: Some clever ducks teach a man a lesson or two about dealing from the bottom of the card deck.
- OCTOBER: A woman gets an unexpected visit from a genie – only it’s the genie who finds himself rather startled by her response.
- DECEMBER: A young runaway finds herself alone at night on the streets, and runs into someone she never would have thought to meet.
All 12 written stories are available on the BlackBerry Keep Moving Hub (recordings of Neil reading the stories will be available Feb. 25). Read on past the break for more information on Phase II of this project.

We’ve heard over the past few weeks how BlackBerry 10 devices are breaking all of BlackBerry’s (RIM’s) old sales figures for first day and first week. That’s all well and good; however, jumping low barriers isn’t too difficult. The biggest hurdle is keeping sales going as the platform launches worldwide. According to the latest report from Canaccord, it looks like those initial sales figures are all the good news that BlackBerry 10 hast to bring.
