Snap1 28 AT&T Releases Official Blackberry Bold 9700 OS 5.0.0.405

After many OS leaks for the Blackberry Bold 9700 the past couple weeks AT&T has officially released OS 5.0.0.405 for the device. You can upgrade it from Desktop Manager or you can head over to the Blackberry website and grab the update.

Ok its been crazy with leaks and updates these past few weeks and yesterday we able to update Messenger to 5.0.0.55. Today we get another treat, I can’t find any change log but you can now go to BlackBerry.com/messenger and get the upgrade to 5.0.0.56.

Update: People are seeing emails coming in but I don’t think were are in the clear just yet

Many peaople are reporting ether a complete outage of BIS service or a delay in their email delivery From what I hear this is a Canadian and American BlackBerry issue so hang tight. Are you haveing BIS issues? Leave a comment.

Take a min to think, your out shopping for the holidays all the parking lots and garages are filled with hundreds of cars some may even look like yours. You go shopping for a few hours then come back to get your car only to find out that you have forgotten were you parked. Sound familiar? Well that why VQ CarFinder war created to prevent this from happening, it uses your GPS location to track were you parked your car then when you need to find it it shows you were you left it. The app is currently on sale at MobiHand for $4.99. I bought mine and I can tell you this will save me from wondering around the lot.

One thing that the iphone had ove the Blackberry was Paypal app, you know the ability to send and recive money on your hand held device. But no longer will that hold, as of today all BlackBerry users can head over to App World and download their verry own paypal sidekick. I installed mine lastnight and kile the options it brings to your BlackBerry. Though i find it very simple because all you can do at the moment is check balances check last transactions and thats about it the app is still new so im hoping we see an update to provide more options. But overall the app has a nice user interface and brings another reason to why BlackBerry.

Rogers the largest canadian cellular provider launched the GSM BlackBerry curve 8520 about 3 months ago and until now they had it exclusively. Mobilesyrup has been dropped a little bit of info that Bell mobility would be getting their hands on a CDMA version on December 26th. So if this was the device you were waiting for then you may want to ask santa for a rain-check.

I just recently went to the Bold 2 9700 and was trying to tether with my mac and it’s not easy entering VPN codes, username and passwords that my carrier Reps don’t even know. So i sit at my desk searching on the internet for a fast and easy way to tether.
