If you haven’t picked up the new BlackBerry Torch then I suggest you hold off, because why pay for one if you can get it for free?! To kick of our Birthday week we are going to giveaway a brand spanking new BlackBerry Torch from your carrier of choice. To enter into the Torch giveaway you must be in Canada or the US and post a comment on why you love the BlackBerry Torch 9800, thats it!     Why would I love a BB Torch? Its the ultimate multi tasker. Touch screen.. Keyboard.. Trackpad. I am constantly doing multiple things at a time on my Berry and this Torch would make those things easier.

    mmm… i don’t know what of all things i love more… but special love for whole OS6 and that great architecture the RIM put on this device… the touch screen with the QWERTY keyboard, maybe that is i love much than the other spects… the combination between a big screen and the whole keyboard…

    My experience with the Torch is quite limited so it’s difficult for me to go into much detail about why I love the Torch.

    I do believe that the Torch has improved on areas of earlier BlackBerry devices that were greatly in need of improvement.

    Firstly, the operating system and in particular the browser. As anyone with an OS5 device can attest to, the browser is far from flawless. By no means am I saying that the OS6 browser is perfect – what I am saying is that RIM has given it a much needed overhaul.

    I like the idea of the Social Feeds application. This is something that RIM needed to do in order to remain competitive. Smartphones are no longer just for business professionals.

    A touchscreen device with a slide-out keyboard is a fantastic idea. Having to not rely solely on a touchscreen for device input I believe is a big win. There are too many instances where I would miss my physical keyboard.

    And what a nice looking device! I’ve always been a fan of BlackBerry aesthetics, and the Torch is no exception.

    In conclusion, it is the Operating system, the introduction of new applications and the look of the device that I love about the Torch.

    Why would I like a Torch??? So many answers to that question. First it is the ultimate multi-tasking phone, you can do a million things at once. OS6 is the best OS Blackberry has released to date. As of now, Im stuck with my old iPhone, my wife is using my 9700 since hers broke. I MISS MY BLACKBERRY!!!

    The torch is every bb users dream, from its touchscreen, os6, trackpad?, qwerty keyboard to its fast speed, enhanced browsing, multimedia, multitasking. Would be a great early xmas gift, but happy birthday! Keep up the already amazing news!!

    I love the Torch because I am a tactile keyboard guy, but at the same time, I want a large screen for watching media and browsing the web using WebKit. The Torch meets all my criteria for a great phone.

    Happy Birthday to TheBerryFix! I love the Blackberry Torch 9800 because it runs OS 6 which has the new webkit browser and the enhanced social networking features. I also love the Torch because it has both a touch screen and physical keyboard.

    Why do I love the BB Torch? Because it is the ultimate answer to any competitive smartphone in the market.

    IPhone? Thanks for introducing multi-tasking a few iterations too late. Wouldn’t it be nice for someone who uses their phone for more than just games to have some security when using their phone? The keyboard is second to none, and now with a touch screen it’s EVEN EASIER to choose BB over crapple. Oh yea, you can make phone calls with OR WITHOUT a case too.

    Windows 7? Sure looks fancy, but I need a real business tool, and that means proven security and usability. I don’t need xbox integration on a cell phone, I need ease of use and something comfortable in my pocket.

    Why do I love the BB Torch? Because it combines a full size touch screen with the magnificent BlackBerry physical keyboard. It’s a match made in SmartPhone Heaven–sort of the Reece’s Peanut Butter Cup of devices, combining two things that work great together!

    The Blackberry Torch is just such a great phone all around. For me I liked the iphone for the touch screen but couldn’t give up on the physical keyboard. But with the Torch you have the best of both worlds. That and with OS6 is even better I’m always on the go and I do my best to keep up with all my friends and family most of which is thought Facebook, text, and email, the Torch does so much more than those… It is the greatest phone out there! Torch Rocks!

    The Torch and rythm and style and more! It combines the best of both worlds, giving the user the flexibility of the touch screen and the comfort of the keyboard. It’s has the Blackberry platform, unmatched in security and coolness. It feels right. It looks right. It tucks me in at night and signs me to sleep. When I’m sick it makes me chicken soup and puts a hot towel on my head. When I’m slad it comforts me and tells me that I am special. I love the Torch.

    The best feature of the torch is the multiple ways you can use it. Not only do you have a touch screen, but the track pad and the keyboard allows you to use it in different ways.

    I want a BB Torch for many reasons; most of which include its amazing features.
    Not leaving out the fact that I have grown to love and truly only enjoy the touch screen of BB.
    My current Storm 1 does not exactly multi-task or even look half as awesome as the New Torch with OS 6.

    I’ve seen a lot of people I know get the iPhone lately, and they keep asking me why I want a Torch when the iPhone is “so much better”. What the mass of Apple Zombies that I call my friends don’t realize is that the Torch, while “underpowered” on paper, is well and capable of doing what the iPhone can too, at a better price, and I won’t feel like I’m going to snap it in two as I use it. I don’t like to overuse touchscreens, so the ability to choose screen-typing or keyboard typing is absolutely perfect! And let’s face it, a BB touchscreen that’s an actualy touch screen, not “guide and press the buttons behind the screen”. Too cool! I’m so glad that I can keep BBM too. Great app for quick get-togethers with the friends who know a good phone! And that camera is just about neccissary for me now. Why buy a phone and a camera seperately?? Craziness I tell you! This melding of fun smartphones and a business-like organization is perfect! A great device for work and play and even combining the two! I’m getting so excited typing this out that I want to go buy one right now!!! (must show patience with XMAS around the corner…..or a contest win *hint hint*)

    I would love to win the Torch because I currently have an Iphone and so many people have told me that it much more superior, and definitely more classy vs the Iphone. I must admit though, the features list of the Torch is very exciting lol.

    I’ve been a Nokia smartphone user for years. I’ve been putting off a move to Blackberry because I wanted a device that was well-balanced for business and personal (for me). The Torch has the combination of features and performance I’ve been looking for. Plus – I really like supporting a mobile phone company based in North America.

    I love the touchscreen! coming from the Storm 2, I really enjoyed using a touchscreen blackberry, but after a while the click screen really got to me, I need something more solid, and easier to type on, and the Torch with the touchscreen/KB hybrid, its a winner right there!!

    Why I love the Torch 9800? That combo of the touch screen and the physical keyboard is perfected in the Torch. Palm Pre? Pffft. I also love it because it feels like a really big blackberry when it is slid open and that is awesome because I dont even need to think about it to use it. If I want to refresh myself from the “boring” BlackBerry experience I just slide up the keyboard and go touchscreen. The Torch 9800 is practically like 2 devices in one and I would definitely love to win the “greatest BlackBerry device” as described by Kevin Mitchaluk from CrackBerry.

    I would love a BlackBerry Torch because it will greatly improve my life with all of it’s capabilities. I’m still fairly new to the BlackBerry seen and would love the chance to be able to harness the power of the Torch and really enjoy the BlackBerry experience.

    I love the BlackBerry Torch because it is one of the first smartphones to truly incorporate a power user keyboards, with touchscreen functionality. I am not a fan of sideways sliding keyboards, or their square soft keys. I would LOVE to win this phone, and retire my 9700 :)

    Hook me up!! Was about to do an upgrade at the beginning of the december. I was on a bold 9000 and then picked up a storm 9530. Now I can get the best of both worlds with the torch!

    Touchscreen is awesome, except for typing on it. Which is why the physical keyboard rocks. Add in a browser that you can actually browse on (I <3 BlackBerry, but their non OS6 browser are terrrrrrible!) and you've got a great combo.

    I think the Torch has the best of all worlds. The WebKit browser, large touchscreen, trackpad, physical keyboard, and enough memory for my needs make it the perfect phone for me.

    I love the Blackberry Torch.
    I have been wishing for a Blackberry touchscreen slider for the last couple years.
    As a productivity tool for business users, a physical keyboard is a must in my opinion. But I would love to be able to enjoy the device when I am not doing heavy typing …. a touchscreen with a good user interface is the answer for that. The 9800 with OS6 is the killer combination.
    When I first saw the news about the 9800 on the internet, my reaction was like …. “Finally, it is about time”.
