RIM has acknowledged that many developers with Dev Alpha units were previously having issues when trying to update the device’s Operating System. In response to those issues, RIM has released an Autoloader tool to help with the update. The Autoloader requires you to use a Windows-based PC to do the update, but besides that, it’s a very simple process. Just click the link below to download the Autoloader and follow the instructions there to update your Dev Alpha.
