Could we be looking at the future of RIM and their BBX powered superphones? While we would love to put this in the confirmed bin, I’m just finding it hard to slap the label on it that easily. So let’s go over the supposed specs of this device. The team over at The Verge are stating that this BlackBerry will carry a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 MP rear and 2 MP front facing cameras, and 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. Even after the rumors that the first QNX powered BlackBerry will only carry a single core CPU, I went on record during on of our live recordings of TheBerryFix.com LIVE that the first BBX (QNX at the time) would carry a dual core, as that is a requirement of the QNX OS.
While the I’m digging the design it does seem to have some Porsche P’9981 influences to it, with a little less crazy. Like I said before, I’ll keep this one in the rumor bin. But if it comes to it and this is the next-gen of BlackBerry, then so far it’s a job well done RIM and let’s get this into consumers hands as soon as possible.
