Looks as though RIM has hit it home with the Launch of the BlackBerry 7 smartphones as Apple, the maker of the popular iPhone, loses market share in the month of September. Apple’s share of traffic across Chitika’s ad network fell from 49% in August to 48% in September and traffic made by RIM’s BlackBerry smartphone grew 1.3% in the month of September. It’ll be interesting to see how RIM and Apple fight with the launch of the QNX powered BlackBerry smartphone hopefully around the corner.
