We have our first solid OS 6 leak for the Bold 9650. OS 6.0.0.222 for the BlackBerry Bold 9650 has been leaked tonight. This is exciting news for both 9650 owners and the BlackBerry community in general. We have another OS leak for the 9700 today but sadly its still a 5.0 version. BBLeaks has put this one out there this morning. This version is OS 5.0.0.938 and we don’t have any information on what has changed in this version. Hopefully this will be the last OS 5.0 leak for the 9700 and we will begin seeing BlackBerry 6 builds leaking. We know that there are builds of BlackBerry 6 out in carriers hands so its only a matter of time till we see our first for the 9700 or even the 9650.

We just had a leak for the Torch 9800 last week and we have another this week! The leak last week fixed some battery life issues and some general bugs. The OS update that has leaked today hasn’t been tested yet by us so we don’t have a list of fixes and changes yet. We normally don’t post leaks for devices that are not yet released but this we had to share with you. OS 6.0.0.212 has been leaked for the Curve 9330. Now what does this mean for you? This means that when the 9330 launches on Verizon, and possibly Sprint as well, there is a good chance it may launch with BlackBerry 6. And If it launches on 5.0 you can always upgrade to this BB6 leak for the 9330. We have included a link to download this OS for anyone who may be interested in viewing the code or that may have a pre-release 9330. Look for the 9330 to drop soon on Verizon and possibly BlackBerry 6 to com to Verizon as well!

BBLeaks has put out a download of OS 5.0.0.912 for the Curve 3G (9300). There is no word on the changes in this version, but it is always nice to see OS leaks for new devices. Its good to see RIM making progress and getting OS builds out to carriers quickly for testing and possible release. Check out this OS release if you have a Curve 3G and let us know what you find.

We haven’t seen a leak for the Pearl 3G in weeks, it’s nice to see some new software to mess around with. The latest leak comes care of BBLeaks.com. OS 5.0.0.884 is one of the highest numbered OS leak we have seen, well aside from OS 6.0.0.161 for the Torch…but that doesn’t count. So grab out those USB cables and boot up Desktop Manager 6.0 and let the fun begin. This leaked OS isn’t much use to the majority of us BlackBerry users, but it does give us hope. Usually when  we see a leak for a device that hasn’t been released yet means it’s right around the corner. Look at the month before the launch of the 9100, we saw many OS leaks coming down the pipes for that device. BBLeaks has leaked os 6.0.0.135 for the BlackBerry 9800 and is available for download here. This will be excellent for hybrid developers out there, hopefully they can give us a little taste of BlackBerry 6 on our current devices.
