We haven’t seen a leak for the Pearl 3G in weeks, it’s nice to see some new software to mess around with. The latest leak comes care of BBLeaks.com. OS 5.0.0.884 is one of the highest numbered OS leak we have seen, well aside from OS 6.0.0.161 for the Torch…but that doesn’t count. So grab out those USB cables and boot up Desktop Manager 6.0 and let the fun begin. Norwegian carrier Trigcom has released an official OS update for the Pearl 3G 9100 and 9105. The OS is 5.0.0.831 and is available now from the BlackBerry downloads website. Get official OS 5.0.0.831 for the Pearl 3G at the link below.

BGR has been hard at work the past few days bringing BlackBerry news.  Today they bring a video of a Bold 9700 running BlackBerry 6.  From what we are hearing, BlackBerry 6 runs very nicely on the Bold 9700.  We are not so sure when an official release of BlackBerry 6 will come for the 9700 because the Bold 9780 will be launching in October and they will want to push BB6 as a feature on the new 9780. Metro PCS has launched OS 5.0.0.847 for the Curve 8530 as an official OS.  If you have an 8530 and want the latest and greatest official OS release then hit the link to load this one up on your BlackBerry.

The Curve 3G (9300) has just recently launched and the first official OS download for the 9300 is now available for download.  Rogers has released OS 5.0.0.832 for the Curve 3G for download on their software downloads page.

TIM Italy has released OS 5.0.0.822 for the Curve 8520. This makes it the highest official 5.0 release for the 8520. If you have an 8520 and want to check out this release, hit the link below.

With the official US release of the BlackBerry Torch 9800 on AT&T today comes the official OS release. Though its not big news it is important for people who update to leaks or those who may need to reinstall after some technical issues. The biggest news here is that this release marks the first officially available version of BlackBerry 6. One question that has been burning my mind is what BlackBerry devices will get the new BlackBerry 6 operating system, and luckily we have a answer for everyone! The newest operating system to leave RIM HQ in Waterloo will be made available on the BlackBerry Bold 9700, 9650 and will also be available for the Pearl 3G 9100. Though there still isn’t a release date for the new operating system but it should be available within the next month or two if all goes well. So will you be going for the new BlackBerry Torch? or will BlackBerry 6 on your current device give you enough excitement?

We haven’t seen an OS leak for the flagship Bold 9700 in quite a while now. It’s nice to see this one and give 9700 owners a shot at a snappier OS. Check it out and let us know what changes you may find.

Hutchinson has released OS 5.0.0.822 for both the Curve 8900 and Bold 9000.  These are both official releases and should run smoothly.  Be sure to let us know what changes you may find in these updates.

Our friends over at BBLeaks have gotten their hands on OS 6.0.0.80 for the Bold 9650.  They have it up and running so this confirms that a touchscreen is not required for BlackBerry 6.  The Bold 9650 does have 512MB memory so it still leaves the question of whether BlackBerry 6 will be supported on devices with less than 512MB.  So, Bold 9650 users, get excited. We will keep you up to date as soon as we get more details on BlackBerry 6 for any and all devices. One more screenshot is featured after the break.
