Step eight.

This is an important step. Your BlackBerry is asking how many attempts you would like to have when entering your password. If you set it to ten then that means you have ten attempts at your password and at the last failed attempt your BlackBerry will wipe if self clean PERMANENTLY!!. This wipe is part of the whole BlackBerry security echo-system.

Step nine.
