Do you have a Bluetooth headset and not know how to pair it with you BlackBerry? Or maybe you want to connect your BlackBerry to your computer through Bluetooth. In today’s lesson, we will look at how to enable Bluetooth on your BlackBerry and how to pair your BlackBerry with your Bluetooth device. Our lesson begins after the break!
First you must enable Bluetooth on your BlackBerry. To do this, open the Manage Connections window. Manage Connections can be opened by either clicking on the service status bars in the upper right corner of the screen or by clicking the Manage Connections Icon, which is by default located on the homescreen.

Make sure that the box beside Bluetooth is checked and that you see the word ON in green beside the word Bluetooth. Next you are going to want to click on Set Up Bluetooth in the Manage Connections menu. You should put the device you want to connect to your BlackBerry into Pairing or Discovery mode This process is unique for all devices and we recommend you refer to the instruction manual of the device you are connecting to in order to learn this process. Once the device you want to connect to is ready, click on search in the Bluetooth menu on your BlackBerry.

Once the search is finished, your BlackBerry will display the devices that it found to connect to. Select the device you wish to pair with from the list and the verification screen will pop up. Ensure that either the pairing numbers match or enter the Bluetooth password provided in the paired device’s instruction manual. Once this has been completed you will receive confirmation that your BlackBerry has been connected to the device. You should now be ready to go with transferring files, using that wireless headset, or any other available Bluetooth features.
