If you are one of the millions of people that use your BlackBerry for work then you have came to the right lesson, we are going to teach you how to enable enterprise level device encryption an password. Step 1:

Open up your application menue my pressing the BlackBerry key and then locate the options icon.

Step 2:

By pressing “S” on your BlackBerry keyboard you will automatically be taken to the security options on the BlackBerry, once there click the track ball or track pad. For storm users find the security menue by scrolling toward the bottom of the options menu.

Step 3:

Step 4:

Press on your trackball, trackpad or touchscreen to open the enable/disable menu.

Within the menu select enable.

Step 6:

You will then be promoted with these options.

Step 7:

Select the level of encryption that you require.

Step 8:

On your BlackBerry select back, and then select save.

Step 9:

You will then be promoted to create a password, make sure its not just 1, 2, 3, 4 and that it’s mixed with numbers and letters. (at this stage you maybe asked to move your trackpad or trackball around to generate a key store, do as directed)

Congratulations your device is now encrypted with the highest level you can get on your BlackBerry, nobody is getting in this puppy!
