BlackBerry Bold 9800 Slider Coming to AT&T in June

posted by Justin Lisenby at on May 14, 2010 | Comments

We have been saying for quite some time now that the 9800 Slider would be coming to AT&T as an exclusive, and BGR has just confirmed not only the AT&T exclusivity, but also that the device is set to launch in June.  The BlackBerry Bold 9800 slider will be coming out on AT&T and will feature the long-awaited Blackberry 6 operating system.  The portrait-style slider will be the first of its kind from RIM and from the looks of it, this new device and OS are going to be huge! We were asked to remove the post a while back pertaining to the exlusive title that AT&T will have, but konaman in the forums posted our articals contents on 3/21 so take a look.

“ reported on 3/21 that AT&T will be the exclusive distributors of the 9700 (slider). Bet no one saw that coming. Also, what (if its true) will that do to the Iphone as a AT&T exclusive. Maybe Apple will allow other carriers to sell their device”
