Nobex Radio App Now on OS 5.0

Capture20 41 16 Nobex Radio App Now on OS 5.0

A early holiday treat has been dropped off by the people from Nobex Technologies, a radio app that works with all BBs, even the 9700. It allows people in any part of North America to listen to their favorite live radio stations. The best part is that it’s free, there is also a premium version available for $20 which gives you some extra content and is a nice way to give back to Nobex for releasing a VERY solid app. Now I do issue one *warning*: it is a data intensive app which
should not be taken for granted by those out there with a 500mb or less data plan. For everyone else that has MBs to spare, you’re in for a treat, it’s very fast, operating on both Wi-Fi and cellular bands, it gives you radio EVERYWHERE, which most of us don’t want to pay extra for. In short, try the app, you’ll like it.

Smart Dark Zen BlackBerry Theme

darktheme Smart Dark Zen BlackBerry Theme

BlackBerry themes have really started to take off since the introduction of themes to app world, but what about the people who love the stock look of their device and dont want to change things that much? Most themes are crazy radical changes to the BlackBerry UI and personally im not a fan of that, so thats why im enjoying the Smart Dark Zen Theme. The zen design is the standard BlackBerry layout of icons but this theme just gives it a more classy look. Currently on sale for $2.99 until Jan. 31 at the mobihand app store for those who like the stock theme but still need a change.

Capture0 38 45 BlackBerry Users Get PayPal

One thing that the iphone had ove the Blackberry was Paypal app, you know the ability to send and recive money on your hand held device. But no longer will that hold, as of today all BlackBerry users can head over to App World and download their verry own paypal sidekick. I installed mine lastnight and kile the options it brings to your BlackBerry. Though i find it very simple because all you can do at the moment is check balances check last transactions and thats about it the app is still new so im hoping we see an update to provide more options. But overall the app has a nice user interface and brings another reason to why BlackBerry.
