Well what it looks like is fido i getting ready to soon launch an 8520, but there still is no word on launch date so the waiting game begins.

Telus Mobility recently launched the Curve 8530 in two colors red and silver, but really not to much hype around this launch from the public, probably because the launches from Rogers wireless and Bell Mobility were very recent.

There have been a few changes in this device over the Curve 8330 many of which make this device a nice addition to the BlackBerry family.

I must say it feels like forever since we have had a leaked OS for the BlackBerry Curve 8530 but that all changes now. Today we have the leaked OS 5.0.0.463 from BBLeaks.com for the 8530. With this leak hopefully things brings some nice additions and bug fixes to the device. so grab a coffee and sit back and let the downloading begin.

Companys often place patents on everything no matter how stupid or crazy the idea is and they do this to protect their ideas. So when RIM patents a product its nothing new, but when its this weird we just have to share it. What we have here is a Pearl like device with one image showing a rounded keyboard on the base of the smartphone and one with the keys held horizontal. Now these devices probably wont see the light of day as a consumer device but would you buy it? like I mean it looks cool and interesting but is it practical?

Last week The Cellular Guru brought us images of the BlackBerry Magnum prototype and many were calling it fake, But today they have done it again we now have VIDEO yes video so all those people saying “Oh thats fake it just a good photo shop” can be silenced because as I watch this video I know its the real deal. The device in the video doesn’t have an OS because even before an operating system could be crated they have moved on to a similar device called the Dakota but its still cool. So what do you think? the next big thing since sliced bread? let us know.

For everyone holding out to get the new BlackBerry Essex also known as Tour 9650 a light just turned on at the end of the tunnel. RIM official announced that the device is coming soon but still no date, hey at least they are acknowledging that it exists. We are still getting word of a February 3rd (probably be a week later) time frame. So whose waiting for the tour 2 in all its trackpad and WiFi glory?
